✔ sour cream - 4 tbsp (160 g)
✔ sugar - 1 tbsp (20g)

One of the easiest and healthiest snacks I know. We only need two basic ingredients: carrots and apples. Of course, from such a set, you can make a fresh or smoothie, but they do not satisfy hunger as well as this salad. We also have an improved version of this dish on our site, a sweet vitamin salad, where we make an interesting dressing.
For the classic carrot and apple salad, oddly enough, we need carrots (2 pcs.) and apples (3 pcs.). You can take any apples you like. I prefer sour-sweet ones, such as green golden. Carrots must be juicy, otherwise the salad loses all its meaning.
Wash them well and peel them, using a knife or vegetable peeler. Sometimes people rub the apple with the skins, but I personally don’t like the tough bits in a delicate appetizer.
Grate the carrots and apples on a coarse grater. To make it easier to grate the apple, cut it into several slices. In addition, this way you will not accidentally shred the hard core or seeds in the salad.
When all the solid ingredients are grated, dress the salad with sour cream (4 tbsp.).
For those on a healthy diet, you can replace the sour cream with natural yogurt. If you want to make the snack sweeter, add a spoonful of sugar and a pinch of cinnamon. Stir the dish and serve.
This snack is great for children and adults. It is delicious, healthy and quite filling. For me personally, it brings back memories of my childhood, when such a salad was made almost daily in the summer. And when you enjoy a cold, sweet dish on a hot day, life started to get better.
