Kiwi recipes are gaining popularity in our cooking and it’s not weird. After all, any dish with the addition of this exotic fruit gets a pleasant sweet and sour taste. The most popular recipes are dedicated to cooking meat, ice cream, smoothies, cakes.
But today we’re gonna talk about baking, more specifically how to make kiwi buns. In addition to the kiwi, we’ll add an apple and put a banana in the dough. As a result, we’ll get some improvement of the popular recipe “Apple and cinnamon buns”. By the way, according to our recipe you will prepare the most real healthy buns, which you can enjoy on a mild diet.
Let’s start with the dough, because it’s yeasty and it still has to insist. We heat the milk to keep it warm.
The warm liquid will activate the dry yeast, but in the hot one they will die and the dough will not rise.
Fact
Add half the butter (10 g), honey and yeast to the milk. Instead of honey, you can take a sweetener. Leave the other half of the butter at room temperature. Thoroughly mix our mixture until the ingredients have dissolved. Leave it for 10 minutes for the yeast to take effect. Wait, add the flour and mix it. Then mix with a crushed banana and continue mixing. Leave the obtained dough for 1 hour in a warm place.
In 40 minutes, we can make kiwi and apple stuffing. Of course, you can do it before, but you have to make sure that the sliced fruit does not wind up and dry out. Apples and kiwifruit are peeled and sliced. If an apple’s skin isn’t hard, you can keep it.
In an hour, our yeast dough rose well, became quite lush and sticky.
Rolling place, hands and dough are all covered with flour. Take the dough and roll it out into a rectangular layer. If the dough is liquid, add some more flour, but do not overdo it so as not to make the dough heavy.
Next, we lubricate the rolled dough with the remaining melted butter, sprinkle some stevia and cinnamon. Now we put the fruit in strips on the dough. In my case, it’s three little kiwis and a third of a big green apple.
You can take any fruit you like, and spread it out as you like. But personally, I really like the combination of sour kiwi and apples. We get the sweetness from the dough. Now gently wrap the dough with the stuffing on a roll.
We cut into 8-10 pieces and lay out on the form with parchment. I put it in the form of a flower. Grease the top with an egg so that the buns have a pleasant color, and put in the oven, for 30-40 minutes at 180 degrees.
After 20 minutes of cooking, a crazy aroma appears, which can be heard all over the apartment.
At the end of time, we take the baked goods out of the oven, give them 15 minutes to cool down and eat. It looks like a kiwi pie, but you can easily tear off the petal, which is an independent bun curl.
The fresh ones are crazy delicious and even a little standing up, the kiwi buns will be amazing.
Bon appetite and a slim body, everybody! Don’t starve 😋
