Full recipe

Today we will talk about how to cook a turkey thigh in the oven to make it incredibly juicy and delicious. At the same time, I am pleased with the simplicity of this recipe. It takes no more than 10 minutes of my own time to prepare all the recipes, not counting the roasts. By the way, this recipe is something like a pork knuckle, but the cooked meat is more dietetic.

First let’s define the turkey. You can take the fillet of the turkey thigh, you can use the meat on the bone. A special role, when cooking according to this recipe, it will not play. The only thing cooked is that the fillet is easier to cut, and with the whole thigh you will have to do a little work. Meat is well washed under water and wiped with paper towels. Along the whole surface of the fibers and skin, we make small but deep enough cuts.

Now we take all the loose spices and sprinkle the thigh. Thoroughly smear the whole piece of meat so that the spices are evenly spread.

Next, we clean the garlic and stick the cloves into the previously made incisions.

At this stage, we put the turkey in the oven-bag and throw pepper peas and bay leaf into it. If there is no oven-bag on hand, bake the meat in foil.

We put the turkey thigh on a tray and put it in the oven for 1.5-2 hours, at 180 degrees.

As a result, we get soft, fragrant meat that is impossible to break away from. Most often we eat it with a side dish or use it for sandwiches.

Bon appetit! Don’t starve 😋
