Cherry yogurt with chocolate was my favorite option, among all presented in the store. Today I will show you how to prepare a similar yogurt with cherries at home, so that it would be as tasty, but also healthy!

We start with cherries. If you have a fresh berry, wash it and take out the bones. With the frozen variant, we perform the same procedures, defrosting beforehand. I freeze the cherries without bones, so just leave the berries for a couple of hours, melt. We beat them on a blender.

Then we take a homemade yogurt or a natural bought one. The main thing is to keep it fresh, without sugar and flavorings. For this recipe you can also use kefir or sour cream, but kefir with cherry is quite sour, and sour cream is much more fat than yogurt.

Pour into a cup with cherry, yogurt. Beat all to a certain homogeneity, when all the ingredients are well crushed and mixed.

In difference to berry smoothies, we do not need to get a completely homogeneous consistency. Small pieces of cherry, on the contrary, emphasize the naturalness of the product. Now we need to add chocolate to the yogurt. To do this, we rub the bar on a fine grater.

Before grinding the chocolate, leave it in the freezer for 30 minutes. Frozen chocolate will not melt too much during rubbing.

Tip

Mix the chocolate in the yogurt well, so that it does not get caught in the lumps.

Pour the drink into the glass, and rub some more chocolate on top for decoration. That’ s all, the yogurt with cherry and chocolate is ready. Depending on the yogurt, cherry and chocolate – the sweetness can be quite different.

If the yogurt is sour, you can add some sweetener or sugar. Among the advantages of such yogurt I can highlight the fact that it is low calorie, fast cooking and good refreshment on hot days. It is also very popular with children.
