The curd mass is an improved variant of the usual cottage cheese with sour cream, but much gentler. Recently, in many stores there is a product “cheese mass”, which is essentially our dish, but with some reservations. They put there an incredible amount of sugar, incomprehensible jams with dyes, oil and other nasty things. Our homemade cottage cheese pudding will not only be delicious, but also not harmful.

For starters, let’s define the curd. I took nonfat cottage cheese as a basis. You can take any other, depending on your preferences and diet. Since we’ll be whipping curd in a blender in the future, it doesn’t matter what type of curd is used – loose curd or briquette curd. The main thing is not to use granular cottage cheese, as it comes quite salty. Next, I will deal with the preparation of powdered sugar, as there is no store option at hand.

Of course, you can put into the curd mass ordinary sugar, but then it can be caught by particles, and the final result will not be so tender. For the preparation of powdered sugar at home, you can use a coffee grinder or blender.

I stopped at the second device. I put the necessary amount of sugar in the bowl and grind before turning into powder. Now we throw all the ingredients into the bowl of a blender. In my case it is cottage cheese, powdered sugar, cinnamon, vanilla and cream.

Instead of cream you can use sour cream, yogurt or even non-oxidized kefir. For diet curd mass, take any nonfat version of the listed fermented milk products. Sugar can be replaced with a sweetener or sugar substitute. But I like this recipe exactly with ordinary sugar. Ingredients should be mixed in a blender to a homogeneous mass.

It is necessary to make the curd lumps disappear. Ready cottage cheese pudding is obtained to the extent sweet and fragrant. It can be eaten as a separate dish, or used as a filling for others, such as cheesecakes. If desired, it is possible to mix the curd mass with nuts, currants or raisins. Personally, I wanted to make small cakes with coffee cookies.
