I ate the actual sauce when I was abroad, and I can tell you with certainty that there are no secret ingredients in it. So whatever we make today will be exactly the same, in taste, as the original appetizer served in Greek taverns. Let&#8217;s assume that you have already made Greek yogurt, so let&#8217;s start preparing the vegetables. Otherwise we will just ruin the whole sauce. If you don&#8217;t do this process, the sauce will turn out too liquid. In case you do not have gauze, you can strain the grated cucumber through a sieve. Finely chop a bunch of parsley and dill. Throw all the herbs in a container with the yogurt and cucumber. Chop the garlic with a garlic crusher and add it to the sauce. I recommend using freshly ground mixed peppers to make the flavor of the tzatziki as pleasant as possible.
